The provision of additional digital services distinguishes the DekaEasyAccess (DEA) and finpair platforms. What do you offer your customers on the Deka Easy Access platform?
With DEA, we offer our customers the digitization of all necessary decisions and activities for their own investment in Depot-A, including a wide range of relevant market data, the ability to manage their own investment portfolio in real time and find out about live market prices. We have designed all of these functions and content based on banking and savings bank treasuries processes so that investors can work on DekaEasyAccess (DEA for short) without interruption - from initial market information to the investment decision to the execution of the ticket as a straight-through process (STP) in their own systems.
What prompted you to collaborate/cooperate with finpair?
finpair is the only provider to date that has succeeded in digitizing the “Schuldschein loan” product in line with the needs of investors and issuers. DekaBank, in turn, is the only provider to date succeeded in launching a comprehensive digital solution for investment decisions by savings banks. Together, we want to further expand and strengthen this respective advantage.
What added value do you want to offer your investors through additional access via finpair?
No customer wants countless platforms, each with just one product. With DEA, we have created a platform that already serves a wide range of customer needs today. As part of our product strategy for DEA, it is now time to provide all the necessary products that are in demand. We always work to ensure that DEA remains the “one-stop shop” for our customers and are constantly developing it further.
How do your customers get from the DEA platform to finpair?
The finpair environment is seamlessly integrated into DEA, so that DEA customers can subscribe to Schuldschein loans with finpair via our DEA platform without further obstacles.
What do you hope to achieve as a result of this collaboration?
Together with finpair, we want to see more revenue in the primary business with corporate Schuldschein loans by providing additional digital services — DekaBank is already the market leader in primary issues in European countries, local authorities and promotional banks. We have a high position among our customers, so it makes sense to use them for products that we do not offer in this form ourselves. With this expansion of our product range in the area of Schuldschein loans, we are strengthening our customer relationships and can thus generate additional income together.
