The first half of 2021 is history. We are still in the midst of a pandemic — but that hasn't stopped us further developing our platform for you and implementing many transactions.
We have successfully completed more than 10 transactions so far this year — and the pipeline is well filled. In addition to established SSD issuers such as Schön Klinik SE, we were also recently able to successfully complete a debut issue for WEMAG AG.
When finpair was founded three years ago, it was unclear how the changing bond market would develop. During this time, more than ten platforms came onto the market in a direct competitive environment.
Today, Finpair is one of the three largest platforms, with a digital market share of around 40% in Q2. A lot has happened since the company was founded. In addition to connecting Deka Bank's Deka Easy Access Platform, we also entered into a cooperation for sustainable finance with the rating agency imug I rating, and this year the “Green Schuldschein loan” brand co-developed by the VÖB - Association of Public Banks with the Involvement of NORD/LB was added.
From the start, our goal was to move away from linear business models to platform solutions. On the one hand, we achieve a very consistent technical solution - in conjunction with absolute product specialists - a very attractive combination for the customer.
